These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and [[LEGAL_ENTITY]] (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your use of the OurDollar mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

2. What OurDollar is — and is not

OurDollar is a budgeting and money-tracking tool for households. It helps you record income, bills, savings goals, and spending, and it calculates figures such as a suggested weekly spending amount based on the information you enter.

OurDollar is not a bank, lender, broker, or financial advisor. It does not connect to, hold, move, or transfer funds. Its calculations and suggestions are informational estimates based solely on what you enter, and are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Always verify important figures yourself.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [[CONTACT_EMAIL]] if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Households and shared access

The Service is designed for shared use. When you create or join a household, the information in that household is visible to, and may be edited by, its members. When you invite someone, you confirm you have the right to share the relevant information with them and to provide their email address for the invitation. You are responsible for who you invite. Removing a member, or deleting a household you own, may permanently remove associated data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service unlawfully or for anyone else’s data without their consent;
Attempt to access accounts, households, or data that are not yours;
Interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service or its security;
Upload malicious code or use the Service to harass or harm others;
Use the invitation or email features to send spam or unwanted messages.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and payments

The current version of the Service is provided free of charge. If we offer paid subscriptions or features in the future, they will be sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Any such purchase is billed by, and subject to the terms of, that platform, including its rules on pricing, auto-renewal, and cancellation. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your app store account settings. We will disclose price and renewal terms before you purchase.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your household members. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to provide it.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may add, change, or remove features. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CALCULATION OR SUGGESTION IS ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

10. Limitation of liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification
